​In 2015 a group of Oregon-Brooklyn community members met to discuss the possibility of creating a Splash Pad in downtown Oregon, Wisconsin. This volunteer group strongly felt that a splash pad would be beneficial to Oregon as it would provide free summer water fun to all ages and abilities, while supporting the local economy and providing a fun meeting place for families. Over the next year they began to gather information, solicit design ideas and explore ways to build a splash pad for families to enjoy. 



Fundraising began full throttle in 2017 and started off strong - brat sales and spaghetti dinners were a great way for people to participate. Others bought pavers and sponsored features for the park. Then, the pandemic happened..... and now this group is determined to make the Splash Pad a reality.  

 

The Oregon-Brooklyn area IS an incredible community and with everyone giving a little, the Splash Pad 

will become a reality in 2023!!
